Coach, Mentor, Choreographer ...Interpreter?

Brandon's foundation as a coach and performer lies within All-Star Competitive Dance. Infinity All-Stars, now known as Velocity Dance was home to the birth of Brandon's coaching career. He started with their youth hip hop team and quickly came to love the impact, connection, and building motivation for young dancers. Through those teachings, Brandon realized how much further he wanted to grow his own dance career. He exampled hard-work, perseverance, and incredible time management as he did not just stop building his students while building himself.

Working around his coaching schedule, Brandon attended Towson University and continued his own dance education simultaneously with Deaf Studies, his determined major at TU. Gaining a foundation in Ballet, Modern, Ballroom, and continued Hip-Hop dancing with the Black Student Union, this collegiate journey definitely improved not only his performance, but teaching methods for his students as well.

After graduating from Towson, Brandon joined Capitol Movement, a dance company based in Washington, D.C.

Brandon’s professional career dove deeper into the arts as he began choreographing for musicals! Red Branch Theatre Company has worked with Brandon for productions such as 'HEATHERS The Musical', and 'Lysistrata Jones'. These productions allowed Brandon to be featured in published articles with Theatre Washingtons; Take Ten, and DC Metro Theatre Arts!

Brandon's teaching  journey continued with working for Tony Award for Artistic Excellence winning theater Arena Stage! His performing career continued by dancing dancing for vocal artist Jodeci Milhouse!

After being signed by Go 2 Talent Agency and relocating to Los Angeles, he was quickly asked to work with Odyssey Dance Theatre. His time in Los Angeles also included joining The MOB dance company and working with other choreographers such as George Jones Jr., Fresh Redding, Alec Clawson, Laura Edwards and Tony Gonzalez. Brandon has recently tapped into his acrobatic and acting talents and has toured with the Live Action stunt show, Marvel Universe Live performing as some of your favorite Marvel Heroes!

FUN FACT!

Aside from working in the entertainment industry, Brandon also has a deep love and connection with the Deaf Community! As mentioned, he holds a Bachelor of Science from Towson University majoring in Deaf Studies. Brandon has also done detailed work as an American Sign Language Interpreter, a substitute teacher for Maryland School for the Deaf, Program Coordinator for MSD, and served as a vocational rehabilitation counselor for a Deaf Services Program! Brandon believes in MAKING the time to do what drives your heart, and truly leaves no passion unattended. He even recently held a Hip-Hop class in ASL!
